◈ Note Everywhere

Privacy Policy

Effective: October 19, 2026 · Note Everywhere v3.77 Beta

1. Information we handle

When you create an account or use Google sign-in, authentication services may process your name, email address, provider identifier and sign-in/session information. We do not ask for your Google password or Google Drive/Gmail content as part of Google sign-in.

When you use the app, the service may process your notes, text, images, uploaded files, links, boards, comments, calendar entries, reminder settings, shared-board permissions and basic metadata needed to sync them. Shared boards and public links can expose information you explicitly choose to share.

2. How we use the information

3. Infrastructure and third parties

Note Everywhere uses Google for optional Google authentication, Neon/Better Auth for identity services, Neon PostgreSQL for cloud data and assets, and Vercel for website/API hosting. Opening a third-party link or external video may also contact its publisher. These providers process information under their own applicable policies.

4. Local and cloud storage

Guest-mode content may be stored in the browser's local storage/IndexedDB and is not automatically cloud-synced. Signed-in content and assets may be stored on cloud infrastructure to enable synchronization. Removing a browser's local data can affect local-only guest content.

5. Sharing and account controls

Your content is private by default unless you choose to share it. Publishing a board, inviting collaborators or creating a share link may allow others to view or interact with content according to its configured role. You can unpublish a board or revoke access through available controls.

6. Retention, deletion and backups

Information may remain while your account is active and for periods required for backups, restoration, security or legal compliance. Deleting a sign-in identity does not necessarily remove stored boards or historical backups. For account data requests, contact the support address listed in the application's Google consent screen. We do not promise immediate permanent deletion from every backup.

7. Security and limitations

We use authentication and access controls, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Avoid uploading sensitive content you are not comfortable storing online. Protect your password, browser sessions and private share links.

8. Your choices and updates

Google sign-in is optional; email/password and guest mode remain available where offered. You can export content using the app's export functionality. We may update this notice when our practices change and publish an updated effective date.
